Kelly Khumalo’s ‘The Voice of Africa’ Album Hits All DSPs This Friday!

Dubbed ‘her vocal highness’, mainstay afrosoul songstress Kelly Khumalo returns with a brand-new album titled The Voice of Africa which hits all DSPs this Friday.

With producer/musician Mondli Ngcobo helming the album’s production, Khumalo channels her song writing prowess and vocal abilities in a singular direction.

Underlying the album’s storytelling is the theme of a collective African experience. Sonically, we will be treated to a seamless blend of Khumalo’s signature afrosoul sound with a range of influences. She most notably taps into gospel on the spirited “Esphambanweni” while exploring her soulful side on her single ‘Empini,’which details a love that conquers all that it comes up against.
