Warner Brothers VFX Artist Collin Miller Directs Emerging ArtistGatto’s Debut Music Video “AT THE GATES”
Los Angeles artist Gatto’s debut music video “AT THE GATES”, part of his upcoming debut album “WELCOME TO HELL”, captures the essence of being bored in the house looking for anything to kill time. It plays upon the idea of a long, hangover-driven day after a night out, while some of the visuals included consist of desperately scanning the refrigerator, aggressively consuming various substances while playing Xbox, and a dark-psychedelic infused bathroom scene.
“AT THE GATES” was directed, shot and edited in Los Angeles, California by COLLIN MILLER (@madewithcilly), a VFX Assistant Coordinator on the set of Warner Brothers’ “Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021)”. Visual Effects were done by ANASTASIA MAKIN’ MAGIC (@anastasia_makinmagic), an independent artist, who’s VFX work has been featured on music videos with emerging artists such as LIL KEED and LYRICA ANDERSON. The song itself was written and produced by Gatto.
Hailing originally from Boston, Gatto is an Independent Artist and Producer currently based in Los Angeles. Starting his musical career in a dorm room at Arizona State University, Gatto infuses numerous genres such as Hip-hop, Alternative, and Electronic. His short career has delivered two singles thus far – “AT THE GATES” and “SIDEKICK”, while his debut album “WELCOME TO HELL” looms for release this winter.
“I was fortunate to get to work with some very talented people for this first video,” said Gatto. “I hope people enjoy it and definitely stay tuned for what is coming next.”
