Zanda Zakuza Speaks Of How Producers Demanded Sex From Her
Afro house singer Zanda Zakuza revealed on Sunday world publication how as an emerging artist looking for a chance she has been a victim of certain producers offering her that chance but in exchange of sex.
This is not the first time a young woman has come forward speaking of how most male producers demand sex before they even listen to their demos. Zanda is a vocalist on a hit single Umvulo by DJ Mdix. The young musician spoke of how she had to give up some of her songs because producers wanted to have sex with her before anything else.
“I gave up 6 songs to two producers because I am not like that,” said the singer. She added that she’s glad that she went through that because now she is able to warn others.
Even though the producers she had gone to in the past made her think twice about her future in music, the 24-year old followed her dream and still strived to make music. She has recently released her debut single titled Hamba. The songs details the experiences she has had while climbing the ladder of the music industry.
She went on to reveal that she is working on a house album titled after her mother Cynthia which is due to release soon.
