Zahara releases new track – ‘Nqaba Yam’

As multiple SAMAaward-winning singer/songwriter Zahara releases her long-awaited album ‘Nqaba Yam’, she is excited to present the title tracks, out today.

Zahara releases ‘Nqaba Yam’ as another teaser ahead of the album, the release of which was delayed as South Africa went into COVID-19 related lockdown Level 4 to be lifted, is sure to keep the Zahara army satisfied and expectant.

The track was arranged and recorded with long-time producer Mojalefa ‘Mjakes’ Thebe in Johannesburg is a veritable sonic peek into the star’s journal. Says Zahara, “This song is a celebration of strength and finding hope when all odds are against you. I cannot wait to hear how the fans react to the song as it is one of my personal favourites from the album”
