Dr Rebecca Malope honored with a statue in celebration of 35 years in the music industry. Gospel singer and songwriter Dr Rebecca received a statue of herself for her great work in the music industry.

On the 1st of April 2023, Dr Rebecca Malope had a gospel music festival to celebrate herself for reaching over 3 decades in the music sphere. The gospel music festival took place at The Bears Palace in Calorina, Mpumalanga. Taking to her Instagram, she recently shared a video of her statue being unveiled during the celebration.

In her caption, she shared that she is grateful to God for being honored and celebrated as a gospel music minister. She also shared that it is God’s grace that she was able to bless people with music that healed their souls throughout the years. She further added by giving thanks to the artists that graced the stage at her festival.

“To God be the glory for all that he has done. It’s only by the grace of God that I am still celebrated after 35 years as a gospel music minister. It is only by God’s grace that I live to see how much my music still touches people’s hearts after all these years. It’s only by the grace of God that I have a statue made for me, wow it looks like me. Oh Father who am I that you are so mindful of me? I can never thank you enough for your grace, mercy and favour upon my life. Thank you to all the artists that honored the invite and ministered so amazingly”, Dr Rebecca Malope shared.

The singer has indeed made her mark in the music industry. From releasing hit songs and releasing 36 albums that reached platinum status. The singer is called the “Queen of Gospel” because of the work she has done since she stepped onto the music scene.
