Neon Dreams, Booshle G, and BYRNE Unite on New Single ‘Wander’

Canadian alt-pop duo Neon Dreams has teamed up with South African rising star Booshle G and New York-based artist BYRNE for their new single, Wander. The track emerged unexpectedly during a studio session in New York, following a sold-out show Neon Dreams and Booshle G performed together in London earlier this year.

BYRNE, a longtime friend of Neon Dreams, invited the artists to write in New York. “We were just visiting the city,” recalls Neon Dreams frontman Frank Kadillac. “One of my friends invited us to a session. I wasn’t even sure Booshle would be part of it, and he just smiled and said, ‘I can do whatever I want.’ That’s when I knew something special was about to happen.”

Booshle G describes the connection as natural. “We’ve toured South Africa and Europe together, shared stages, and spent time building this trust,” he says. “Getting in the studio just felt natural—and out came this big ball of fun we called ‘Wander’.” The song reflects spontaneity, adventure, and a chemistry that can’t be forced.

Sonically, Wander blends 70s funk, 80s disco pop, and modern energy. Frank calls it “lightning in a bottle. For 2 minutes and 37 seconds, you’re going to feel unstoppable. Exhilarating. Contagious. Sunshine.” The track celebrates freedom, presence, and stepping outside your comfort zone. “We wander back into love when we stop thinking and start feeling,” Frank explains. Booshle adds, “It’s about always chasing the summer—physically, emotionally, spiritually. It’s an adventure, and this track represents a childlike expression of that joy.”

The collaboration marks a milestone for both Neon Dreams and Booshle G. Neon Dreams recently celebrated their 10-year anniversary with an acoustic album, while Booshle G played his first international show to a sold-out London crowd.

Fans can look forward to the Sunshine Tour 2 across South Africa in October, featuring all three artists. Neon Dreams will then head to Europe for their headline tour, with Booshle G joining as a special guest. Frank notes, “More music, more content, and more special live moments.”

Wander is available now on all streaming platforms.
