DJ KingMaster SA Returns with Soulful New Single “I Do Believe”

South African DJ and producer DJ KingMaster SA, born Mlondolozi Nkululeko Msomi, makes a powerful comeback with his latest single, “I Do Believe.” The track fuses Afro House and Amapiano with a narrative rooted in survival, ancestral protection, and the determination to live.

Durban-based vocalist and lyricist Sea Black (Sphesihle Nene) wrote and performed the song, sharing his near-death experiences involving a local gang over personal disputes. These encounters inspired the song’s message: survival is never by chance.

Sea Black drew strength from his ancestral connection after the attacks, a realization that shaped the heart of the track. “I Do Believe” came together almost serendipitously during an early morning studio session in KwaMashu. “It was a Sunday around 4 AM when a melody came to me,” DJ KingMaster SA recalled. “I laid down the piano chords and rhythm, then went back to sleep. When I woke up, I finished the beat. That same day, Sea Black walked into the studio, heard the track, and without hesitation began writing and recording. It all happened in flow — nothing forced.”

DJ KingMaster SA has built a reputation for blending Afro House, Amapiano, jazz, and traditional Zulu rhythms. His signature sound combines mellow basslines, smooth piano melodies, and mid-tempo grooves between 100–120 BPM. His instrumental storytelling allows melodies to carry emotional weight alongside the lyrics.

“I Do Believe” is his first solo single since 2022, following a collaboration with Netherlands-based vocalist Sariah Mansoer. Since then, he has contributed to international projects, including “The Way” with Moroccan artist Lou Elise and a recent release with Mzee Vocalist.
