Sjava Shines at the 2025 GQ Men of the Year Awards in Johannesburg
The 2025 GQ Men of the Year Awards unfolded at the Fairlawns Boutique Hotel in Johannesburg, where an intimate gathering of 50 distinguished guests came together to celebrate South Africa’s leading figures in culture, business, and entertainment. Among the honourees, Sjava took centre stage, receiving the 2025 Excellence in Music Award in recognition of his exceptional contributions to South African music.
Sjava’s award follows the success of his September release, Uyena 2.0, which reinforced his position as one of the nation’s most versatile artists.
