DJ Mo Flava, continues to give young South Africans opportunities
Metro FM radio personality and Club DJ, Mo Flava, continues to give young South Africans opportunities to live their dreams.
After giving away 12 student bursaries through Boston Media earlier this year, now Mo Flava’s afternoon Drive on Metro is giving youthful listeners an opportunity to live their radio dream and live loud with their favourite station.
The concept themed the Youth Takeover sees young people between the ages of 17 – 35 years taking over the Drive on Metro for an hour. The idea was started by Mo Flava last year when he was still hosting The Morning Fix on Metro FM from 8-10 am weekdays and was a huge success. The Youth Takeover is part of the youth month celebrations and has been running for the month of June.
“The idea behind it was to give young people an experience in the world of broadcasting. The principle is just to give access to young people through the station,” expresses Mo Flava.
The Drive on Metro co-hosted by Mo Flava and Masechaba Ndlovu is still taking entries for the Youth Takeover and people are encouraged to send their voice notes or demo no more than 90 seconds to 083 595 1162 and a short motivation on why they should be on the show.
Mo Flava has made a remarkable difference in the lives of many students over the past few years through his bursary give-aways. Mo Flava who is known to be the voice of the youth, has provided the youth with various many opportunities over the years.
