Heavy K’s Robbery Ordeal

House Music producer and DJ  Mkhululi Siqula famously known as Heavy K is also in the list of celebrities who have experienced horrendous crime experiences. The DJ currently resides in Midrand where thieves broke into his house and took his most valuable assets.

They took his electronics and shoes worth more than R77 000. This incidence took place a while back. The twisted part is that his case never went to court because there was no evidence or arrests.

According to the police statement seen by Sunday World, Heavy K stated that he lost a number of shoes and electronic appliances.”I left my house in order when I went to visit my family in Cape Town. When I came back I noticed that my sliding door was removed. I found out that a JVC plasma [TV], Sony PlayStation, eight pairs of shoes, cellphones and a camera were stolen,” wrote Heavy K on a police statement.

Celebrities are becoming easy targets to thieves, this is proof that famous or not, crime occurs anywhere and the majority of people have become victims once if not twice in their lifetime. According to Crime Statistics SA  Home robbery (11,9 per cent) is the second most common type of crime experienced by South African households.
