Ami Faku, A Rising Platinum Star
| Ami Faku was awarded with a platinum plaque yesterday for her single, Ubuhle Bakho! Ami Faku also recently received a gold plaque for her album’s title track Imali ft Blaq Diamond. The Imali visual, which evokes raw and visceral emotion, premiered on Mzansi Magic! Rising star Ami Faku has been nominated for FOUR categories at the South African Muisc Awards (SAMAs). She’s being recognized for Newcomer of The Year and Best Afro Pop Album for her debut classic album, Imali. As well as Female Artist Of The Year and the much coveted Record Of The Year for the single Into Ingawe with Sun-El Musician.
