Details Of The Moshito Music Conference And Exhibition For 2017

This year the Moshito Music Conference and Exhibition will be introducing new and exciting things that cultural music fans will definitely love. The conference will be marking 14 years and will take place at the prestigious Newtown Music Factory in Johannesburg City Centre.

The conference will be taking place from the 6th to 9th of September 2017. The theme will be Rhythm Of The Ancient. The aim of choosing the theme is to represent the origin of SA music genres such as Qgom, Hip hop, Jazz, soul and Shangaan electronic beats.

Headlining the conference will be the famous traditional and cultural historical artists Dizo Platjiees and Candy ‘Tsamandebele’ Mokwene. Fans can expect to see the likes of Arthur Mafokate, Wanda Baloyi and Tshedi Mholo in the event.

The Opening Night Concert will take place on the 6th of September in Newton. On the 7th of September there will be Afro World Concert At Soweto Theatre. Lastly on the 9th of September at Newtown’s Junction Mall there will be Street festival showcasing urban beats.
