Emtee Reveals He Worries About Money
Award winning rapper and Businessman Mthembeni Ndevu famously known as Emtee made a shocking yet normal revelation on an interview with Mo Flava and Masechaba on the Drive Show that he is paranoid about money. The artist said that he has suffered a lot in his life he doesn’t want to be without money. The rapper also spoke about how his childhood taught him how to handle money and all other situations in life.
“I’ve always been paranoid about my future [where money is concerned]. I always have a plan B. I grew up in Jo’burg in the streets, so that has helped me understand that one always needs to have a plan B or C and even Z if you can. I am investing, putting money away, I have a company… You know, I am a shareholder and I’m doing it the business way,” he said.
Emtee also went to mention how he is his own hero and how surprised he is at how his life turned out. “Except people like Nelson Mandela and Steve Biko that I looked up to. I am my own hero. I’ve survived so much. I shouldn’t even be here. I have even surprised myself, because there was a time when people doubted me and you start believing them, thinking maybe they are right. But I have had to take myself out of situations by myself, so I saved myself,” said the Roll Up hitmaker.
He is currently working towards finishing his album with a lead single Ghetto Hero. The single was released back in April this year, like most of his songs fans loved it and cannot wait for him to complete his album.
