Like most South African stories of crime, Tsotsi tells a story of a young man that lived his life through violence and theft and things don’t end up too well for him. As much as the film can talk crime it also gives lessons to youngsters about crimes and the consequences they have. The film shows the world how South Africans live and better elaborate the factors that influence young people to engage into crime.
“We are excited to turn this incredible black narrative into a reality. We are trying to unpack the psychology behind it,” Dom told Sowetan in an interview.
