SA Top 5 Most Controversial Musicians In 2019

SA Top 5 Most Controversial Musicians In 2019 – Numerous celebrities cause controversy, simply by the disposition of their stardom — although some scandals are far more significant than others. We have gathered the top 5 in the year 2019 so far, a list of prominent stars who were linked to some controversy.

The List Below:

1 Babes Wodumo

What is shocking is to learn how one of our own, Babes Wodumo appeared to be a victim to his partner musician Mampintsha.  How did this surface? Considering it is not the first time this rumour took centre stage. I and the rest of South Africa vividly saw this, proceeding footage of a male figure taking the features of Mampintsha, striking a female, who takes the likes of Babes Wodumo. The snippet or rather video under that is currently under scrutiny was recorded on Babes’ Instagram live on Sunday night but has since been taken down.
Fans went hysteric, exchanging their views and feelings concerning the matter.

Bongekile “Babes Wodumo” Simelane and her sister Tipcee have been reprimanded by Durban magistrate Jackie Jonck. This follows a similar narrative surfaced of the star arriving late for her court date due to transportation issues, Again! Babes Wodumo is constantly on the trending list for negativity, hardly anything positive has been said. It has been confirmed by Mampintsha’s manager that the two are back together which is very confusing to those that publicly supported her.

2. Mampinstha

Do you still remember the Big Nuz member is currently dealing with charges of assault against his ex-girlfriend? This happened after the video went viral on Instagram of Babes beaten by Mampintsha in a place that seemed to be a hotel room.
Now, his fresh new single is titled “Khona ingane Lay’ndlini,” the lyrics connotate “there are children in the house.’” What is most fascinating is the lyrics are from his own lines which were heard on that night said to Babes Wodumo on the day of the assault.
The Music video dropped and Mampintsha did the whole surprise on his fans, the single attributes DJ Tira and Babes Wodumo. The visuals aroused questions, anger and disappointment in amid fans, and also the authenticity of her alleged assault that was recorded on a live Instagram platform earlier this March.

3. Zahara

Zahara Revealed How She Was Underpaid By Former Record Label – Zahara has been making rounds concerning her music journey, she has made accusations to TS Records executives TK Nciza and Sbu Leope, asserting she was not paid what she deserved for her performances including the sale of her records, let us not forget her royalties for all the times her songs were played.
This was stated by the Sowetan. She confesses she was fretting to come forth and speak about the corruption that was transpiring concerning her money because she knew that would spoil things for her. She had to live on money provided by Samro and receiving money occasionally from TS Records.

4. Ntsiki Mazwai

In a series of tweets, the Show me Love Talk show host went on and on about how in South Africa confidence passes as talent, referring to Queen B.  We previously updated you with Ntsiki’s controversial topic concerning the standard of Hip Hop, which she stated it has dropped. She was clear about which names were at the top of the chain in running the movement to its knees. And AKA and Cassper Nyovest made it to the top two.
She threw it out there unashamedly that their lyrical content was saturated with insignificant content, which fails to alleviate any social issues, they only promote drugs and alcohol. Ntsiki Mazwai Talks About Her One Night Stand Experience – Ntsiki Mazwai ushered to social media to interact with the fans concerning her one stand, and the other person falling for you in the process. She is candid and always expresses herself without mincing her words.

5. Kelly Khumalo sauntered off stage following her performance after two songs at an EFF rally in Durban, attendees, thousands at the rally chanted “Senzo” and displayed a banner shouting for justice to take place for the murder of the late goalkeeper. However, Kelly has always had this dark cloud following her and it keeps on following her year in and out, she was linked romanticly to the Bafana Bafana star at the time of his death in October 2014. When she was performing at the Chatsworth Stadium she was once again reminded when the chants rang out. We as South Africans have witnessed Kelly Khumalo and Senzo Meyiwa’s names surface. She is blamed by many for the death of her father’s child.

Kelly keeps on receiving hatred without the evidence of her killing Senzo.
See, Senzo was killed in October 2014 at Kelly’s family home. Among those in the house at the time were Kelly, her sister Zandi, her mother Ntombi, her son Christian, Senzo’s friends Tumelo Madlala and Mthokozisi Twala, and Longwe Twala. Today (it’s been more than four years since Senzo was buried), with the loud promise from the police and the justice system to bring his killers to justice, the case remains unsolved.
