Vusi Nova Survives Hijacking And Kidnapping Ordeal

Award winning Afro pop star Vusi Nova has been found safe after being hijacked and kidnapped last Friday outside his house at Melville,Johannesburg. Jead Stehr from Muthaland Entertainment explained what took place to News24 saying that the artist was hijacked by four men who pulled out guns at him and fired one shot. Vusi Nova wasn’t by himself, with him was the members of the band 094.

“They then drove off with Vusi and one of the band members. They dropped the band member off in Riverlea and kept Vusi. They dropped Vusi off an hour later,” Stehr said. Adding to her statement Stehr said that Vusi was dropped off between Eldorado Park and Brixton and that he called someone to say he is alive but lost everything “He phoned in from someone’s phone to say he is alive and he was rushing to Brixton Police Station. He was stripped off everything.”

Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Lungelo Dlamini told  News24  that he won’t be able to confirm details concerning Vusi’s hijacking.
