The Script Set To Tour SA in 2018

Irish rock band The Script will be returning to SA for a tour set to take place in Cape Town and Pretoria on the 2nd and 4th of May 2018. In Cape Town they will be performing at the  Grand West Grand Arena and in Pretoria it will be at the Sun Arena at Time Square.

The band have visited SA a number of times before back in 2011 and 2015, they even shot one of their music videos in a township in Cape Town for a song Superheroes. They have newly released another album titled Freedom Child. The trio will perform all the songs in the new album as a way of promoting it. Their hit singles such as No Good In Goodbye, Hall Of Fame and The Man Who Can’t Be Moved increased their fan base in a big way.

Their songs are loved by people of all races and class, because they always carry a deep meaning that almost everyone can relate to. The group consist of members Danny O’Donoghue who is a lead vocalist, Mark Sheehan who plays the guitar and Glen Power who plays the drums. Their debut album made it to number 1 spot in both Ireland and UK back in 2008 when it was released, this proves just how good they are.

This new album also topped the UK Official Albums Chart. It also topped the iTunes chart in Ireland, as well 13 other countries. The band also entered the Top 10 on iTunes in 47 markets around the globe. They really making progress with their music. This album delivers a creation of both real-life events and real-time sonic adventurism according to them.
