Download : A’latos – Ixesha. Afro pop/soul group A’latos made up of two members Athenkosi Xhontana, 24, and guitarist Thembelani Poto, 31 have dropped a new single they titled Ixesha which means time.

They haven’t made a massive breakthrough in the music industry but with this track things might escalate to greater heights. The duo comes all the way from the Eastern Cape and are hell-bent on marking their territory in the music scene.

The song is performing well so far, it is getting positive reception from fans and is getting airplay already. They are not only limited to this single but they have been touring from place to place across SA performing some of their songs. They have shared the stage in an event Castle Afro Summer Sounds event which took place on the 8th of October 2017 at Castle of Good Hope Cape Town with Ringo Madlingozi, The Soil and Soul Kulture to name a few.

Xhotana went on to explain the meaning behind their song. “The song speaks to anyone who has been hustling for a better life. It is also directed at those who have been hurt many times in love and at last found a person they can love,” he said.

The two musicians have known each other since 2011 when they sang for rival groups but it was only in 2014 that they decided to team up and form A’latos.
