Zahara’s Fans Address Serious Complaint

Zahara’s fans took it to social media to complain about the lack of radio play of her songs more especially the ones from her newly released album Umgodi. She claimed that she was not aware of what fans claim of her songs not being played on radio because she has been away in Botswana for a gig.

Zahara’s album went Gold in six hours of it’s release which proves just how much people love her music, now according to them they are not hearing any of it on radio.Fans posted a message on their official page recently attacking radio stations for allegedly not playing songs from Mgodi and accusing them of alleged corruption. They started a campaign via SMS and direct messages to encourage fans to call radio stations and compilers to complain

In the past it has been the musicians who have been complaining about the lack of radio play, this time around it was fans who noticed and expressed how they didn’t like that.

“Apparently they heard that my music has not been played on radio. They are the ones that listen to me and promotes me even in my absence. I just came back from Botswana but personally I wouldn’t know if it is true. They told me there’s nothing I can do to stop them because they are concerned. They said if I’m not going to do anything about it then they will take the steps forward,” she said

The Loliwe hitmaker said the call for action was not sent by either her or her management but if it was true, she was happy to have an army ready to fight for her.
