Joe Nina On Helping Young Artists Get Their Shine

Legendary musician Joe Nina who is still making music after years of experience in the industry has expressed how he is determined to help young artists get their breakthrough in the industry that seems to contain the majority of selfish people.

“I realised that in this industry, it is every man for himself, which is a sad reality because we should always be about development more than anything. I think it’s about time that we realise that the status of veteran means we should be in a position to guide young artists and share knowledge.

Joe took a break from music after he had made 26 albums, now he’s back with some new music, a 27th album Time 2 Time with a lead single he just released titled Ngil’tholile. The album feature some of the greatest in music in included the late Ray Phiri, Steve Kekana & Various artists.

He is now keen to assisting younger musicians to make their way to the music scene and express their talents.

“I believe that if you want to do something (right), you need to do it yourself. That is why I have taken it upon myself to help develop young artists. Making a difference, no matter how small, is what matters to me.”
