SA Artists With The Most Music Awards

In the music industry there’s a high competition, as much as most would say they do music out of passion there’s no denying that making more money and gaining more recognition from it is the ultimate goal. Music Award ceremonies are established to show appreciation and admiration to musicians that do an outstanding job in music each year.

Having less or no awards doesn’t mean that other artists are less talented or their music isn’t loved it just that we live in a world where others will always be best compared to others. The best part about awards is that, fans are given the platform to vote for the acts they admire most among those nominated. Having more votes results in one gaining an award.

The biggest music awards ceremony in SA recently are SAMAs with the ceremony held late-April or May annually. Metro FM Music Awards that celebrates excellence in the South African music industry by honouring musicians who did exceedingly well in their field throughout the year. And the newly established Dance And Music Awards South Africa (DMASA) which also gives fans a chance to nominate and vote for their favourites musicians.
