Hlengiwe Mhlaba Opens Up About Her Upcoming Role On Uzalo. Gospel star Hlengiwe Mhlaba has revealed the news that she will be making appearance on Mzansi’s popular telenovela Uzalo. The muso will be appearing with other famous acts such as Zodwa Wabantu, Destruction Boyz & Dj Tira to say the least.

The soapie will be hosting a funeral for two of it’s characters MaNzuza and Smangele. The departure of these two actresses from the soapie was announced last year and will now officially come to an end on the 16th of February as friends and families from the soapie will be bidding them farewell.

Speaking to DRUM publication Hlengiwe Mhlaba said that she took the church stage on Tuesday to deliver her performance on the anticipated episode. She added that her experience on the set was a life-changing experience.

“This was a new thing. I’m used to stage – I don’t know about what happens when they’re making TV.” But despite the new experience, Mhlaba shone on camera
