Khanyi Mbau Comments On The Money Beef She Allegedly Had With Somizi. It was reported last month that media personalities Khanyi Mbau and Somizi are at odds and the reason behind it was speculated to be in the movies. When asked about the Beef during the interview Khanyi slammed the rumours and clarified that there’s no beef or whatsoever between her and Somizi.
“Somizi know’s the type of cash I carry, like on a daily basis,” Khanyi started, going on to say: “[With] Somizi and I it’s never been about money. If I find him at a restaurant, he’ll pay, and vice versa. If I’m at a parking lot and my car is getting washed, I’ll pay [or] he’ll pay, and that’s it. But there’s no beef between us.”
Somizi on the other hand stated his case and cleared that they never even borrowed each other money.
“we’ve never borrowed each other money,” Somizi added, with Khanyi replying: “No.”
Fresh also touched on Khanyi’s breakup with muso Tebogo Lerole, asking the star how she’s dealing with it. “I don’t know where I am right now. Every day is different,” Khanyi confessed, mentioning that it’s been “tough.”
When questioned about when the relationship had truly ended, Khanyi told the Fresh Breakfast team: “Relationships die, I think, two years before they really die. And when you’re in the public eye they die four years before they really die. I think we had broken up a long time ago, but we still fight the physical.”
