Somizi is one of few celebrities who aren’t afraid to showcase and share their love story with the world, he has now shared the story behind his proposal to his 24 year old lover Mohale. The two got engaged earlier this year in the city of love Paris just opposite the Eiffel Tower Somizi knelt and proposed, it surely doesn’t get any more romantic than that.
Speaking to his co-hosts on the Fresh Breakfast show on Metro FM, Somizi revealed that it had taken him three months to plan his engagement, “It needed to be right. I thought about it for three months. I was so nervous. The proposal was the worst (for my nerves),” he said.
The Idols Presenter then went on to add that it was Mohale who initially wanted to propose, “We did discuss getting married and the proposal, but he said he wanted to propose. That’s what made it such a big surprise,” he explained.
He concluded by saying that he was looking to walk down the aisle soon, “I wanted to wait for the right time to tell everyone, but eish. Paparazzi. I’m not a long time engager. I’m not talking about getting engaged 7 years ago. It must be within a year-ish,” he said.
