Tina Turner’s Show Set To Dazzle Jozi From August Till September 2018. Caroline Barole who is a born singer from S.A is set to play legendary star Tina Turner in a new show to hit Johannesburg at the Emperor Palace Casino Theatre of Marcellos titled Tina : Simply The Best. The show will take place from the 31st of August until 16 September 2018.
Barole will perform over 15 of Turner’s most popular tracks, including Simply the Best, What’s Love Got to Do With It, River Deep Mountain High,Proud Mary, Nutbush City Limits, We don’t need another Hero, Jumping Jack Flash, What You Get is What You See, Private Dancer and many more.
“Portraying an icon is never an easy task. To be given the opportunity to do something like this will always be something that I will appreciate and be in awe of,” explains Borole.
The star will also be accompanied by four energetic dancers to help create the ultimate Tina Turner concert experience. “Tina really puts on a show when she’s on stage, she’s the true essence of ‘a performer’, so when one tries to emulate her you have to make sure you study her – the vocals, the dancing, the walk, the smile, everything – down to a tee,” says Borole.
