Kelvin Momo Apologises for Missing Sun City Resort Performance
South African music producer and DJ Kelvin Momo has issued a public apology for missing his scheduled performance at Sun City Resort over the weekend.
In a statement shared on social media, Kelvin Momo acknowledged the disappointment caused by his absence and cited unforeseen circumstances and miscommunications. He wrote, “There were unforeseen circumstances and miscommunications that led to my absence and I acknowledge that I should have responded more promptly and transparently to all parties involved. I am working closely with my team to ensure that something like this does not happen again in the future.”
Sun City Resort confirmed that Kelvin Momo did not arrive for the Outside event despite being contracted, booked, and paid. Organisers had to inform attendees at the last minute that the performance would not take place as scheduled, placing the event team in crisis mode.
Kelvin Momo’s absence follows a pattern of missed performances, which has raised concerns among fans. Ahead of his Red Bull Symphonic show, many were anxious due to his history of missing three previous scheduled gigs.
The apology marks Kelvin Momo’s attempt to address the issue publicly and reassure fans and event organisers that steps are being taken to prevent future cancellations.
