Kwela Tebza Collaborates With Ishmael On New Single “Jabula”. Ishmael and Kwela Tebza have just released a new single titled Jabula which gives new meaning to the popular sound.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Ishmael said he loved featuring on the song.
“I received a call from Kwela Tebza asking to collaborate on a track and, as soon as I heard the beat they sent on Whatsapp, I was immediately sold. I loved the concept because it was about going home in December after working in the big cities all year. I knew a lot of South Africans can relate,” said Ishmael.
“I had so much fun working in the studio with the guys, cracking jokes and just having a good time. It’s a happy song and it humbles me as it makes me look forward to going home and spending time with my loved ones this festive season. I would like it to remind us to never forget where we come from.”
