Amanda Black is making big waves!
We are in a great season when it comes to the progress of South African Artists. every day; we hear of elevation and new doors opening wide.
They have released the news; the upcoming Essence Festival will have our own stand on behalf of Mzansi, flying our flag high in New Orleans this year. We have witnessed our powerful vocalist expressing her thrills concerning her contribution to the event.
The former Idols contestant and banger of “Amazulu” shared her excitement with her fans. “pips, Guys! I am so excited!”- exclaimed with excitement.
We are proud of her and her achievements; she also revealed how proud she is of her tenacity and courage to hold on to her dreams.
She will not be alone, along her will be Nast C holding the flag high at the Essence Festival in New Orleans in July. They will be rubbing shoulders with the likes of Nas the rapper, the queen of pop Mary J. Blige, Miss Elliott and Jermaine Dupri as Essence Magazine is getting older; turning 25 years.
It was also motivating to see her encourage her fans to never give up on their dreams.
Even Nasty C, took time to share his thoughts, “This should be lit AF”.
The Festival organisers, producers mentioned a limited line-up on Monday, publishing over 80 artists for the ceremony that will host during the July Fourth weekend in New Orleans, Loni Love will be the M.C – the comedian and talk show host will grace the stage. Not forgetting Celeste Ntuli and Tellaman will also be part of the team. We will wait and hope for the best. All they need to know from us South Africans is that we are proud.
