Watch! First Ever SA Contestant Shines On The Voice US – We are proud to announce one of our own South African, Cape Town born has taken the Voice US with a surprise and the Judges are impressed.
Jess Yallup, overwhelmed and astonished the judges with her performance of “I Try – by Marcy Gray. The singer’s concealed auditions resulted in her acquainting Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
In which she disclosed on Instagram her ultimate choice was Blake. She has made history by being the initial South African to become apparent on the show in its 16th season. How great is that? Slowly but surely the world is becoming familiar with our talent and respecting it.
This is her third year residing in the US with her husband, she relocated in the year 2017, in case you have forgotten her, she was a contestant in Idols South Africa Season 6 in the year 2010. She was that spectacular, she made it to the top 7, it is no surprise she has impressed the “Voice US”
We are proud of her relentless spirit of chasing after her music career, we wish her all the best in her endevours.
