Idols Winner Hits Top 5 On The Charts with her Single “Promised Land” – The Idols winner has decided to pursue the gospel genre, one would not expect a 17-year-old to be a gospel star in this day and age since Hip Hop, House and Qgom are the talks of the town!
But the young and beautiful musician is sticking to her number one choice, Gospel music. She has hit number one on iTunes Gospel Charts, so it seems she is on the right track.
Gospel is also booming in its own sphere and people are supporting it. “The song is inspired by harmony, peace and nation building. The song makes me feel like I am spreading a message of hope and I hope it touches someone’s life,” Yanga explained to TshisaLIVE. Her single “Promised Land” attributes multi award-winning Amanda winning and the Soweto Gospel Choir, that recently scooped a grammy.
