Mshoza Feels The Music Industry Is Not Recognising Her For Her Worth – Nomasonto Mshoza Maswanganyi has been around the music industry for a decade (20 years) and we have witnessed her downfalls and success but she still remains to this day.

She has announced she has everlasting gratitude for her loyal consistent fans, but she is not completely satisfied that in the 20years of her career, nothing speaks in terms of awards, accolades. She holds in her belief that she is notable and worthy to be a Grammy winner. 

When she was interviewed by TshisaLIVE following her tweet she explicated that she is not denoting accolades as a primary inspiration to her life’s work, although, it is disappointing to learn she has only been acknowledged by a Soweto stokvel group a decade ago.

 “Well, no awards received yet in the music industry. Except for one time, I was once honoured by Soweto stokvel at an early age. It might have been because I was also Miss Stokvel at some point, can you believe it?” – she exclaimed. 

However, she still has faith her time is not so distant, she has broadened her spectrum. She is now aiming for a Grammy and also recently she has been invited to perform at the SA Music Awards nomination (Sama) and that is a step in the right direction. It has been a while since she had the opportunity to show her talent, so she is grateful.
