Watch! Unathi Sparks A Debate On The General Perspective Of Plaited Hair & Weaves – Our African hair is, and, has always been viewed with fascination and sometimes courted controversy among those inside and outside the black communities.
Black hair has been an integral feature of black history – from African tribal styles to dreadlocks and the afro.
Unathi ushered to social media to share a video of her current hairstyle, a plaited hairstyle “Conrows,” which most women usually do when they want to lay a weave or wig on top. She asked her followers what they think when they come across women walking around in public with such a hairstyle.
