DJ Fresh Starts His First Day At “#FreshOn947” And Fans Are Counting Down The Hours – Social Media users, Twitter to be exact is still hyped up with DJ Fresh’s integration following Metro FM terminated radio icon, DJ Fresh for using the word “msunery” on air.
DJ Fresh Spoke On Getting Fired & Announced a New Show. Finally, the wait is over, he has announced his new residence.
South Africans were showing their support for DJ Fresh after the SABC Terminated his contract from Metro FM on Tuesday, 9th of July 2019 afternoon following findings by the Broadcasting Complaints Commission of SA (BCCSA) for the use of foul language.
When Metro Fm released a statement in which it said his contract had been terminated following a protracted disagreement. No one knew the future, but South Africa needs to worry no more.
“The termination follows unsuccessful engagements between SABC radio management and Thato Sikwane (Fresh’s real name), subsequent to his usage of offensive language on air,”
He has released a statement thanking his fans for the calls and overwhelming support but he sees being fired from SABC as a blessing. He announced that he will be part of a new show on the 1st of August 2019.
He has officially joined 947 radio station, the anticipation is gruelling fans as he will no longer be serving the morning posts as per usual at Metro Fm. He will be hosting an afternoon show from 3 pm to 7 pm from Monday to Friday, weekdays.
This is the beginning of a new journey for him we wish him all the best, may he thrive and conquer.
