Watch! TDK Macassette Making Waves With Her Stellar Performances Internationally – Thandeka Mkhwanazi, around the music scene, recognised TDK Macassette, seems to be purposeful, ambitious with a flourishing music career, the colourful Gqom Barbie sure is different, beauty accompanied by brains.

She shared images of her graduation months back with a degree in PR and Communications from the Durban University of Technology. Quite a busy lady, she dropped a new Gqom track titled left/right without a shadow of a doubt will get fans dropping on the dance floor.

TDK Macassette aka Gqom Barbie also ahs been unveiled as an influencer for a prominent whiskey brand.

Do you still remember when fans called her out for appearing to be making a u-turn on statements she made earlier this year about alcohol? 

If you can still recall on an interview with IOL, TDK was quoted as having said, “I have even taken a conscious decision to never sing about alcohol or drugs, twerking or showing unmentionable body parts”.

“Like I said at the beginning of this interview, there are two people in one body who are busy at work here. Gqom Barbie is the music side of my brand, the performer on stage. TDK is the professional side. The power side and the business mogul side. From a business side, I felt that Pocket Scotch (the alcoholic campaign she’s joined)  made sense for the brand of TDK.”
