DR Tumi Stopped Submitting For The Gospel Awards And Here’s Why: – Dr Tumi has transformed the gospel industry, releasing fresh music and recently filling the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg  – a first for a gospel artist.

Gospel music artist Dr Tumi has explained that he will not tolerate people “worshipping” him and described some of the experiences that have left him uncomfortable in churches he’s performed at.

Dr Tumi’s music has received general acclaim and his songs are played all over the country. He recently filled The Dome to capacity in what was a first for a gospel artist.

Dr Tumi was asked why he has not submitted for the Gospel awards like every other artist.

Dr Tumi is fast becoming a sought after songwriter for the contemporary gospel. He has written songs for a number of gospel artists in South Africa. Dr Tumi, who is also a medical doctor, wants his word-based prophetic songs to change lives by ministering healing, inspiration, hope, new meaning, revival and experience of God on another dimension.
