The multi-award-winning artist was born in South Africa’s house music province, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), raised in the Eastern Cape province, where struggle stalwart Nelson Mandela hailed from, before moving back to KZN to study music. It was worth it.

DJ Black Coffee has been taking over the world one African-inspired electro beat at a time. They are now joining forces and opening an art school in South Africa.
The DJ spoke to Billboard and mentioned how the art school, which will be based in Johannesburg, would be designed by his friend Virgil.
