Bongo Maffin Announces New Album Release Date – Thandiswa Mazwai ushered to social media to share that new music is coming and that on the 29th of November they will be releasing 4th Studio album.
They released their first studio album, The Concerto, in 1998, followed by Bongolution (2001) and New Construction (2005).
They have already released a single titled “Gimme Joy” – AFRO-POP music group Bongo Maffin reunited to produce great music once again for South Africans.
Prior to bouncing back, the award-winning group promised their fans’ favourites from their career that spans over 20 years – a legacy that has been built on raw talent.
The band has also been working on new music for two years now and the new single is set to be released in September.
“For the mere fact that people are waiting for us to complete it, it is a special moment for us. We are sitting on 24 songs in total now and we plan to have one of those iTunes albums with 30 songs on it. We will also announce a tour and just connect with the people,” Speedy added.
