The DJ had been sharing content on his socials doing gigs and traveling around the world. A video of his recent performance put him in hot water as social media criticized him and made speculations about the video.

After the clip made trends list, tweeps went on shared their thoughts on it. On the video, the DJ was crying whilst he was DJing and a song titled Rainbow played in the background. The song was made when he was still part of Black Motion. Tweeps shared their speculations saying that Murdah was reminiscing about the times with Black Motion. He further added that it was only tears of joy and that he was happy to be finally free.
