AKA On Deeper Details As To Why He Won’t Ever Submit His Music For Awards. Rapper AKA has expressed how he will never submit his music for nominations on awards organisations, because he isn’t impressed by the idea of being told he’s good enough or not when he knows his truth.

“I am simply not interested in people telling us who is great and who is deserving and who isn’t anymore. Bob Marley and Tupac never won Grammies. I also don’t look down on people who DO submit or care about awards. It’s just my preference at this point in my career.”

The rapper said he was grateful for all the awards he’s received.
