Bongo Maffin Set To Perform At Huawei Joburg Day – Legendary kwaito group Bongo Maffin is among the acts billed to perform at Huawei Joburg Day this year.

They’ll be performing at the Joburg Botanical Gardens in Emmarentia on 16 May.
Bongo Maffin, which is made up of Thandiswa Mazwai, Jah Seed (Adrian Mupemi), Stoan Seate and Speedy, released a new album, From Bongo With Love, last year after a 10-year break.
Some of their popular songs from the album include Vuma, Mama Winnie, Huya Huya and Bob Marley.
Following their successful events since 2017, the organisers of the fourth annual event have promised a sound explosion.
Thando Makhunga, station manager on 947, told SunBuzz: “Every year thousands of music fans join us in a beautiful Joburg park to have an epic party.
“We always up the ante with an A-list line-up and 2020 will be no different.
“We’re especially excited to welcome the legendary Bongo Maffin.”
Penny Diao, marketing director at Huawei, said they were proud to be associated with bringing the best music talent in the country together to perform for the Joburg fans.
“We want to continue to give our fans the best music experience in the country,” he said.
Tickets for the event are available at TicketPro from R150 to R1200.
