Kelly Khumalo Reveals Emotional State After Her Concert “I Look To You” Gets Cancelled Amid #CoronaVirusOutbreak

Kelly Khumalo Reveals Emotional State After Her Concert “I Look To You” Gets Cancelled – If you think the coronavirus pandemic’s only affected massive festivals like SXSW and Coachella and big-scale tours like Billie Eilish’s and Cher’s, think again.

As more metropolitan areas take necessary steps in an effort to contain the virus’s spread, thousands of smaller acts are having their entire year and, in many cases, their only source of income completely wiped out. Even in the best-case scenario, the spate of nationwide event postponements and cancellations will likely affect concert bookings until the end of the year, drastically changing the live-music landscape for the rest of 2020

President Cyril Ramaphosa on Sunday evening (15 March),  announced a number of restrictions to curb the spread of the coronavirus – including a prohibition of gatherings of more than 100 people.

Speaking at a media briefing on the coronavirus restriction measures announced by the president, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Naledi Pandor said that the government’s aim is not to move in and physically break up gatherings.

Now, Kelly Khumalo Ushered to social media on the 17th of March to express her desponded reaction to her show “I Look To You,” being cancelled amid the coronavirus outbreak. She has become the statistics of the many artists who have come forth and expressed their grievances and the damage this impact will have on their pockets. Sad indeed, although containing the spread is far more important than anything else.

This is how she reacted:

This breaks my heart
