Shimza Shares A Hillarious Joke About Corona Virus That started Off As A Scare – Coronavirus, or the Covid-19 virus, was declared a public health emergency of international concern by the World Health Organisation (WHO) in January. 

It has so far killed more than 3,000 people and infected 90,000 in more than 60 countries since it was first detected in Wuhan, China, in December.

The first case of the coronavirus in sub-Saharan Africa has been confirmed in Nigeria. The patient is an Italian citizen who works in Nigeria and flew into the commercial city of Lagos from Milan on 25 February.

Although, this is a serious pandemic outcry, in Mzansi we always find a way to create humour out of everything, regardless of its pessimistic impact o society.

Shimza took to social media to share on the 4th of March 2020 to share a status concerning the coronavirus. We were troubled at the beginning of the tweet as it was pointing to our neighbouring country to be hit with the coronavirus, only to find out he was playing us with a joke.

Well, we are sure glad that was a joke, we cannot begin to fathom the ramifications of the disease afflicting our continent in Africa.
