Lizzo says that there was a period in her life where she got so used to seeing her face with makeup that she wasn’t comfortable seeing herself without makeup. The hip hop artist is happy that she got the chance to switch that thought off as of lately.

The hip hop artist says she never thought that it would happen to her as she was an earthy person. “I had a few days off in Brazil back in February where I wasn’t in makeup and I remember being like ‘Yo, why am I so ugly to myself right now?’ It’s because I got addicted, to seeing my face with contour. I never thought that would happen because I’m such an earthy b***h, I can go days without makeup,” Lizzo told ‘People’ Magazine.
