DJ/Producer Kquesol Releases New Single ‘Bayede’ Featuring Lizwi
To celebrate Africa Month we are proud to present Dj/Producer Kquesol. He recently released a new single titled Bayede featuring songstress Lizwi.
Kenneth Ntuli popularly known as KqueSol rapidly rising in the house music scene. His musical journey began when he experimented with the piano at the age of 15. His growing desire for instruments propelled him to study music at the at the Soul Candi Institute for Music.
This Mpumalanga based house DJ and producer has record mixed and featured on many great influential house tracks across Africa and the international market through Kquewave records, a company which he co-founded since 2015. Apart from mastering and creating music, this multi-talented artist studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Johannesburg, an occupation which he pursues when he is away from the ones and twos.
He has worked with the likes of Oscar-P, Shatti Mogapi, Davison Ospina, Distance people, BOOKER-T and the list goes on. His songs were featured on a House Africa release called Rumble in the Jungle Disc 2 Mixed by Zino The Neckbreaker “KqueSol ft Shatti – I Lay My Life On You” and also on Soul Candi “Soul Candi 2014 KqueSol – Afrikan Lesson” His soulful house therapy music is known to be one of the greatest sounds alive today.
Kquesol remains on the list of the top five underground house producers with soothing melodies. This accumulation of sounds continues to propel him to experiment more with the genre.
His soulful mastering abilities has acquired him many accolades and afforded him the opportunity to play alongside big household names in this industry; the likes of Vinny Da Vince, Christos, Fistaz Mixwell, Dolls Chombers, Atjazz, Lulo Café, to name the few. The seasoned Dj has an impressive track record of multiple EP’s that he has released under his record label namely: Old Skul Me, Away From Home, African Lesson and The Basics. These projects explore a variety of sounds that firmly places him as one of the top 5 underground house producers in SA.
This discography shows off his impeccable ability to create synergies with a variety of house elements involving soulful, underground house, house church groove sound and many other elements that make sense to the ears, minds and hearts of house music lovers and dance floor lovers. Now with his latest single Bayede featuring Lizwi, Kquesol found inspiration in the African fusion of tribal, ancestral melodies and vocals; a growing sound that is now known as Afrotech. He drew a lot of inspiration from Culoe De Song’s track featuring the legendary Busi Mhlongo titled “Babomcane”. The single Bayede has been officially available on all music platforms since 21 February 2020.
