Heavy K On How He Plans To Help His Wife’s Music Career Blossom. Drumboss has not only proven to be a loving father & great musician but a good husband to his wife Ntombi whom his helping to shine brighter in the music scene.
“I’ve been working on Ntombi’s project. I’ve actually been featuring her on my music for over two years. We’ve been doing album songs, hence she didn’t really blow up initially because her vibe is different from mine and I don’t want people to box her into the Heavy K sound. We want her to have her own identity in music. She has a very soulful and jazz sound.” Said Heavy K speaking to TshisaLIVE.
He added that he’s aware of the pros & cons of the industry and has prepared Ntombi for it.
I am aware that the industry has a lot of challenges. I always tell her that she must be mentally ready for it. When you get into this industry, you tell yourself you won’t do these funny things but it takes a lot of discipline for you to remain true to who you are. It is overwhelming when you meet your idols and they introduce you to bad habits.”
