People have been in fear throughout these past few weeks as they have realised that the coronavirus is getting close to them. Realtor and reality television star TT Mbha has announced last week that he had the coronavirus, with high hopes that he will get better. Simphiwe Dana also announces that her mother has also been diagnosed with the virus.

The musician’s mother is a retired nurse that went back to work at an old age home to provide assistance. “My mom has been diagnosed with the corona virus. She is a retired nurse who went back to work for an old age home because nursing to her is a calling. She is recovering at home and seems to be ok. She has diabetes. Still I have faith she will pull through,” says Simphiwe Dana. The musician got a lot of love from social media users.

Ferial Haffajee says, “Insha-Allah she will…and also because she is Simphiwe Dana’s mother. Strength to her and to you.” One social media user says, “May God restore her health and may he give you strength as you support your mom.”
