The cover single is part of their upcoming album titled ‘The South African Songbook’. The song is the second track off the album. The track is the first single to have been released off the album.The tempo of the track is a bit more faster than the original. The lead vocalists of the choir have also given solos, with Afrikaans pop star Kurt Darren giving the middle verse. Some of the songs on the upcoming collaborative album include Solomon Linda’s ‘The Lion Sleeps Tonight’.

The last time Kurt Darren sang in a vernacular language he didn’t get a lot of from South Africans. Hopefully he can redeem himself with the Brenda Fassie cover of ‘Vulindlela’. The track has been released and the album will be released on the 17th of July. The track is available on iTunes.
