Gospel star Dumi Mkokstad and Vusi Nova have been working on music together. The artists released a track titled ‘Yibanathi’. The song was set to be released on Friday 10 July but then the duo released a day earlier.

Dumi Mkokstad stated that the track is a track of prayer, which seeks healing from God. “The song is seeking God’s intervention during these hard times. Therefore we felt it’s necessary to compose a song that brings us closer to God. The reality is that we are all affected by this disease and it’s frustrating,” says the gospel singer. The song by Dumi Mkokstad and Vusi Nova was meant to be addressing the coronavirus pandemic but then they decided to move the focal point to gender-based violence.
