Gqom star Mampintsha had social media users going crazy when he shared a picture of his limited edition ‘Air Jordan 1 High OG Dior Sneakers’. The shoes have had people talking in SA after highly acclaimed house music producer Black Coffee also took a snap with the sneakers. The house music producer has the blue coloured version of the sneakers one week back.

This makes Mampintsha the second South African celeb with the limited edition sneakers. The gqom star shared a picture of the shoes with proof that they are not replicas. He posted a pic of the his shoes in black colour. Social media users reacted to the shoes by Mampintsha. Some of the social media users think that the shoes are a replica version. One social media user says, “A whole replica on insta…”

Some social media users wanted an explanation for purchasing the sneakers. One social media user says, “You owe us an explanation as a country.” When the partnership shoe between Jordan and Dior launched at about R38k, now the last shoe sale on stockX was over R170k.
