Previous 2019 Idols South Africa contestant Sneziey Msomi has released her anticipated first studio album. The album follows after her single ‘Ungubaba’, an urban gospel track, got a lot of love. The 12-track debut gospel album is titled ‘Izulu’.
The musician says that the journey towards her debut album has been quite good. She says that god honoured her and her song writing procedure in a great way. She says that she would wake up with a full track in her mind whenever she started to write. “The inspiration behind my album Izulu is just grace and [god] being [god] in my life. I would like my album to remind my supporters that no situation should change the way we praise God and no situation will change the role God plays in our lives and how much he loves us,” Sneziey Msomi told ZAlebs.
The artist says that people will be surprised by the type of music that the title carries, as it is different from ‘Kungumusa’ and ‘Ungubaba’. Sneziey Msomi has featured numerous gospel stars such as Dumi Mkokstad on her debut album.
